9th November Iqbal Day is the big day in our history as today the creator of Two Nation Theory, Allama Muhammad Iqbal was born. Being a Pakistani we all are well aware that how well the ‘Two Nation Theory’ worked out in realising Muslims their dignity and superiority. Iqbal’s role in awakening Muslims from sleep of delusion was a big achievement.
Iqbal Day was not observed as the public holiday as per the federal government’s last year notification. But this year Iqbal Day has been restored as public holiday by Supreme court after Allama Iqbal’s grandson Waleed Iqbal filed petition against government’s decision.
