E-commerce markets have approximated that Pakistan will have Forty million smartphones by Dec 2016, because of the unexpected and continuing growth of the raised number of mobile broadband consumers.
Since the 3G/4G spectrum public auction this past year, the numbers of these specific broadband smartphone consumers have peaked up to 14.6 million as of July 2015.

While smartphones still consists of less than 20% of Pakistan’s overall monthly imports, e-commerce market sources show that the number is likely to increase in in the future.
Based on Muneeb Maayr, co-founder of e-commerce giant Daraz.pk, the total number of people looking to purchase smartphones on line has gotten to to 2 million monthly recently.
