22 Year Old Pakistani Cricketer Died During T20 Match

Providing entertainment to many a 22 year old Zulfiqar Bhatti died while batting in a T-20 match.The T-20 game was being played in Sukhar. Its really shocked all people around to watch the player getting hurt and dying on the spot. Zulfiqar was aiming to play a pull shot on a fast short delivery. He lost eye on the ball or miss timed the ball and ball hit his chest hard and he fell down as soon as the ball hit his chest. He was immediately taken to the nearest civil hospital for treatment.

According to his team mates he was pretending to be normal after getting hit but he was injured very badly. During the medical treatment that doctors were giving to the young cricketer said that young Zulifiqar breath his last on the pitch. It is a very sad event in game of cricket. Upon death of the 22 year old, all the sport activities were stopped in Sukhar and it was decided to play any game for three days as condolence of the young cricketer.

Body of Zulfiqar has been buried in his home ground where he played lot of cricket.The cricket authorities should ensure that wherever cricket is being played in Pakistan safety measures should be adopted in all respects. Players should be well equipped and well protected before the get out to play. The leader of MQM has also showed great grief on the death of young cricketer.

Cricket is favourite sport in Pakistan and measures should be taken to promote the game such events make parents not to let their sons and daughters to play cricket as such events make the dangerous image of cricket in minds of the parents. We pray that may Allah bless young cricketer and give courage to his family to tackle this great sorrow.
