17,211 Pakistani Girls Flee Homes due to Mobile Phones & Cable TV

According to a Non Government Organization 17,211 Girls left their homes for their loved ones and astonishingly 4 thousand of these  Girls were married and above one thousand were students from schools,colleges and universities.  Out of 17,211 girls 15,125 girls were those who were in contact with their boyfriends or lovers via cell phones and its worth mentioning that most of them haven’t even seen or doesn’t properly know to whom they were talking and became victims of unknown gatecrashers. 90% of these are victims of fake promises and comfortable future dreams. As per the report of the N.G.O another cause of girls leaving their homes for sake of their love  is cable TV as the young girls and newly married women and are encouraged by TV dramas and films due to that  they take such inappropriate or forbidden steps and almost all of them regret their step in future when they loose their morals, dignity and respect for nothing.

Another cause behind this social destruction is the unawareness of parents  about the activities of their children as they don’t take pain or bother to know how frequent and how long is the mobile usage in their homes specially by the daughters. How come they make long calls? From where all that mobile credit come ? How such expensive cell phones are in hands of their daughters? The N.G.O gathered this information from police stations and Asylum houses where such girls or women have been living and its worth mentioning here that most of the girls acknowledged that their mothers knew to whom they were talking or they knew that they were in contact with someone but didn’t stopped them but supported them in the cause. It was suggested by the N.G.O that it is now need of time that the parents look after their families with more interest as mobile phones have made it very easy to contact anybody  as one just have to make effort to get 11 digit number and the rest is done by the western culture that is being  promoted on TV channels inspires them to runaway from their home.
