The Muslim around the world is celebrating the day of their beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with full religious zeal and enthusiasm. They are chanting Marhaba Ya Muhammad, Labik Ya Rasool Ullah, Labik Ya Muhammad, Fidaka Ummi Wa Ubii Ya Rasool Ullah, and all those things that depict to increase the importance of the Last Prophet of Islam for them.

Just like other countries, Pakistanis are also celebrating Eid Milad un Nabi. Streets and houses have been decorated with lights, flags and other colourful decorations. Recitations of Holy Quran and Naats with full voice hear everywhere.

Moreover, special speeches, Quran recitation competitions and Naats competitions will also be held in different cities and also on a national level by the Federal Government, Provincial Governments and Local Governments.

On this holy occasion, Punjab Government has taken a special step. First time in the history of Pakistan, Punjab has made the record of granting a special remission of two months for the prisoners. That will surely benefit thousands of prisoners.

What is 12 Rabi al Awal Eid Milad un Nabi

Among a lot of holy dates and festivals of Muslims, the day of 12th Rabi al Awal is also the most popular date as it is the birthday date of the Hazrat Muhammad (Sallal Laho Alayhi Wa Sallam). In most of the Muslim countries, this day is celebrated as a national holiday. Hundreds and thousands of Mawlid celebrations are held each year in most of the Muslim countries and in other countries where there is considerable Muslim population.

The Muslims across the world celebrate the day for observance of the birthday of the Last Messenger of the Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (sallal-laho alayhi wasallam).
