As we all know that as a Pakistani, we have to face a lot of criticism due to negative image of Pakistan around the globe, which is created by some nasty characters belonging to our homeland. It does not make a sense that all Pakistanis are the same like those shameless creatures. There are some names who worked really well to raise the flag of Pakistan very high on the sky and told the whole world that Pakistan is the land of most talented, hard working and honest people. - Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
His work was admired around the globe but he could not continue his work in Hollywood due to some personal issues of his music being used in bold scenes. He has composed music for Dead Man Walking, Bone Collector and Last Temptation of Christ.
- Atif Aslam
One of the most famous young Pakistan pop star. He is also lending his singing for the approaching movie “The Reluctant Fundamentalist”. His three songs have been included in an Independent Hollywood movie “Man Push Cart”.
- Ajmal Zaheer Ahmed
Another Pakistani who has done really well in Hollywood. He is also the executive producer of the movie “Jinn”. These Hollywood movies, “Alliance”, “It’s a Mismatch” and “Jinn” has been written and directed by him.
- Ayad Akhtar
Ayad Akhtar was born in New York to Pakistani parents. In 2013, he got Pulitzer Prize for Drama. He wrote first novel named as American Dervesh. He is an American actor and writer. He also got nominated for his script of “The War Within” for an Independent Spirit Award.
- Iqbal Theba
He is a famous Pakistani-American artist. He has played an amazing role in ‘Married with Children’. He also played an important role in Transformers 2. He was born in Karachi in 1963. He became an instant hit when he appeared in ‘Friends and Nip Tuck’.
- Dilshad Vadsaria
She was born in Karachi in 1985. She is one of the few Pakistanis in Hollywood who have attracted massive attention from all around the globe. She has played Rebecca Logan in Greek, the trendy TV series. She is currently appearing in the comedy caper, 30 minutes or less. She is an actress of Portuguese and South Asian descent.
- Meesha Shafi
She is among other Pakistanis in Hollywood, the famous model and Coke-Studio singer. In addition to singing and acting in films, she is also active in caring work, has a number of supporting deals and she is known as one of the most famous singers and actresses in Pakistan. She entered Hollywood with her role in ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’.
- Saima Chowdhry
She started from CBS as their Detroit host where she is currently hosting ‘First Forecast Mornings’. Saima Chowdhry has achieved local news anchoring positions very rapidly. After appearing on MTV, the ‘Rachael Ray Show’ and ‘Law & Order’.
- Kamran Pasha
He is a famous writer. He has worked for ‘Kings’, ‘Sleeper Cell’ and many other TV dramas. He has been inspired by many Pakistanis in Hollywood due to his excellent performances. His upcoming project is Ibn-e-Battuta in which he will be entering back into Islamic history from a traveler’s point of view.

He will be seen in Jinn, Two Mothers, Ashes and the sci-fi TV series, “Warehouse 13”. He got inspiring roles in movies like Star Trek, Iron Man, and Charlie Wilson’s War very early.
