Premium business laptop, the VAIO, has resurfaced again but with a fresh look and an entirely new color scheme in its new VAIO C15 ‘fashionable’ notebook series. The vivid colors used by VAIO notebooks seem to be targeted for consumers other than businessmen, however, the price tag for the notebooks remains as high as ever. The main point of attraction of these laptops is the range of creative colors used that include Orange and Khaki, Yellow and Black, Navy and Grey, and White and Copper.

Coming on to the actual specifications of the C15 laptop series, there are two versions available. The regular version features a 15.5″ display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The processor is the dual-core 1.7 GHz Intel Celeron 3215U while there is 4 GB of RAM. This version will be available in all four color schemes mentioned above. The price for the regular version of the VAIO C15 is $650 if you get it from an official store.

The premium version features a 15.5″ display with a Full HD (1920 x 1080) display. This model will feature an Intel Core i3 processor (unspecified version) with 8 GB of RAM. This version will be available in the Navy-Grey, and White-Copper colors only. However, there is no word on what the price tag will be or when this model will be available.

In conclusion, new VAIO C15 series looks to change its consumer market from businessmen to posh-users who really love the elegant colors that the notebook series of the offer. However, besides the ‘beauty’ factor of the laptops, the overall specifications are well below par for the price tags that the notebooks carry.
