Samsung Galaxy S8 Active leaks surface again

Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has been leaked again with a new hands on video. The upcoming Galaxy S8 active will be the latest addition to the Samsung Galaxy S Active series. Just like the previous S active phones, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will be resistant to salt, dust, humidity, rain, vibration, solar radiation, transport and thermal shock. Moreover, the phone will have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection both on front and back.
In the leaks, the phone looks exactly like the Samsung Galaxy S8 but the screen on this one is flat. Which could mean that it will not feature the Samsung‘s’ Infinity Display but the screen size and resolution might be the same. However, a flat screen will make it easier to put covers and cases on the device.
According to the leak, the phone will come with the Snapdragon 835 chipset with Octa-core (4×2.35GHz Kryo & 4×1.9GHz Kryo) CPU and Adreno 540 GPU. The internal storage will 64GB which can be expanded by a Micro SD card. Unlike the Galaxy S8, the S8 Active will come with a 4,000 mAh battery, just like the last year’s S7 active, which means the juice will last significantly longer.
The Active button has been removed from this device and is replaced by the Bixby button. Moreover, the is expected to come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box which is a bit older version of Android now. As shown in the video, the phone will have a USB Type-C connector. The remaining specifications are expected to be same as the original Galaxy S8.
