While speaking to TechJuice, Imtiaz said,

Kaymu has a passionate team and the company has an extremely bright future. By the numbers, Kaymu Pakistan is currently the best performing country amongst all Kaymu ventures across the globe. We have made waves in e-commerce especially in Pakistan, having penetrated into over 240 cities and districts in the country.

Heading offline marketing for all Kaymu countries in Asia and having worked with marketing departments across the region, I can proudly say that efficient processes have been laid out, the right teams are in place and marketing has a clear focus across the countries. Over the last few months we worked strenuously to ensure that the teams were self-sufficient and functional on their own, in line with our succession and growth planning.

E-commerce is another feather in my cap – definitely one of my favorites! As of now, I am taking a long-overdue vacation as I have been working for over a decade. Once I am back, I will focus on what my next challenge is going to be!”

Kaymu has never been the most favorite ecommerce website in Pakistan. Due to its marketplace model, anybody can be a seller which leaves a lot for quality assurance department. And despite that, there are many variables that are not under control of Kaymu as a platform. The platform has also attracted negative attention in the past owing to not fulfillment of orders, and selling of counterfeit products.

Imtiaz joined Kaymu as head of marketing for Pakistan and later was promoted to head Asia. He worked for the organization for a period of 2 years.
