Google Hillary Clinton

Google is the source of most of our information. It is generally expected that search results from Google are authentic and over time we all have developed a relationship of trust with Google. But it appears that Google may not have been completely honest with its users. A vlog called SourceFed has put forth some very questionable evidence which somewhat proves that Google may have tampered its search results in favor of Hillary Clinton.

Now as you may all know that Hillary Clinton is one of the front-runners of USA’s up-coming Presidential elections. This puts both Google and Clinton in an awkward situation. According to the detailed analysis by SourceFed, Google has been secretly burying negative stories linked to Hillary Clinton while simultaneously promoting her heroics.

For example, when typing “Hillary Clinton cri” Google’s auto-complete function brings up as its top choice to be “Hillary Clinton crime reform” even though competing search engines Bing and Yahoo show the most popular search topics are “Hillary Clinton criminal charges” and “Hillary Clinton crime.”

While this could also be due to legitimate differences in the algorithms used by the search engines, SourceFed said that a search of “Hillary Clinton crime reform” on Google trends showed that “there weren’t even enough searches of the term to build a graph on the site” which raises a huge question mark as to what Google is trying to do here.

Did Clinton pay Google to do this in order to boost her campaign? And what does Google get from all this? Needless to say that it does hurt their credibility if these accusations turn out to be correct. But will billions of users turn away from Google in light of this controversy? We don’t think so.
