MANSOOR AKRAM:

“Amina Yasmeen” was one highly contrasting series of apparels designed by Mansoor. He pulled some string by infusing soft pastel hues in most of the dresses in womenswear. For men, he went for something bold and manly and chose for darker shades of colours. Traditional Lehengas and western inspired maxis were the real deal of his collection which was finely embedded with bolts of work in ivory and silver.

AYESHA AND USMAN

The alluring sparkles of their couture stunned the audience. The use of fabrics, the tasteful use of Zari and Zardozi over flared Lehengas, tops and Dupattas proved to be enticing. The collection was named to be “Enchanted Garden” for all the right reasons. The style was immaculate in every sense as they kept it monochromatic in theme.

FAIKA KARIM:

Faika’s promising new collection was miraculous for many possible reasons; firstly it has the touch of that traditional ethnicity which all the brides would love to carry. Moreover, she chose the perfect palette to design this series and threw some amazing blends like the rich maroon with ivory, gold, and beige. Pastel greens, hints of silver and peachy orange were also the part of her amazing collection.

UMSHA BY UZMA BABER:

Uzma’s collection had the multiplicity of styles, be it Peplum designs, the crop tops with flannel lehengas, the wrap belt style or the funky Sharara pants, everything was there to admire. The entire series was set to the spicy red and maroon tone coupled with beige and ivories. She made use of intricate embroideries with shimmering pearls and studs.

FAHAD HUSSAYN:

A Shift from rich maroon to the eye captivating ivory was evident in “Dara Shikah Aur Sunchri Churail” Collection by Fahad Hussayn. He idealised the cultural diversity of our historical eras and brought it out in the spotlight. His selection for pairing hues, dimensional embroideries and elegant styling was quite challenging. He used jamawar for men’s in inspiring new hues and prints. Sherwanis were coupled with drapes of Jamawar used along.

AHMED SULTAN:

Lastly the “Kingdom of Allums” studded the stage as Sunita Marshal walked in wearing classic by Ahmed Sultan. Front slit, double layered Maxis, frocks, lehengas and tops with metallic belts were the distinguishing features of his collection. His creativity put a great end to the show and the day by setting up a soft mood in the atmosphere.
