Windows 11 is Launching Without Android App Support

Windows 11 will be able to run Android apps directly into the OS without needing any third-party software, but not at launch. Some of us will have to wait a bit longer to get the feature.

Microsoft has announced on its website that Windows 11 will not run Android apps natively at launch on October 5. It will, however, become available to Windows Insiders in the following months. There is no word on when it will become available to everyone else.

Regardless, the wait will not be long for most users around the globe. This is because Windows 11 will roll out gradually after October 5. It will only be available to new eligible PCs at first and then it will become available on older machines.

Microsoft says that all eligible PCs will get the Windows 11 update by mid-2022. That is plenty of time for Microsoft to release Android app support.
