Partnering with CIO Pakistan in 2017 for the CIO Table Talk Vertical sessions, RapidCompute is engaging with cross-industry verticals to provide IT executives with a peer-to-peer meet up and information exchange aiding in the charting of IT strategy in their enterprises.

These boutique sessions produced by CIO Pakistan, invite technology heads of organizations from a single vertical, probe the issues and challenges and share the lessons and case studies of local companies and how they are championing technology in their respective organizations.

So far, quad-city events have been carried out from Islamabad, Lahore, and Faisalabad to Karachi and were co-moderated by the IDG Editorial team and Mr. Zaeem Arshad and Mr. Imran Khan from RapidCompute.

Islamabad’s session was purely focused on Government/Public Sector organizations, and in attendance at the first session of the series were top CIOs and IT Heads from a variety of institutions including NADRA, ECP, Pakistan Navy, IST, Fauji Foundation, OGDCL, Ministry of IT, Defence, National Assembly, Askari Bank, Pakistan Bait-ul Mal, PPIB, National IT Board among others.

Lahore Session

The Lahore session had a mix of Textile and Manufacturing companies including DG Khan Cement, Nishat Group, Sapphire Group, Naveena Group, Al-Khair Group, Thal Industries, Fatima Fertilizers, Masood Textile, and Style Textiles among others.

Karachi Session Participants

Vertical in focus for Karachi was Pharmaceutical with participants from Sanofi Aventis, Bayer Pakistan, Abbott Laboratories, Geofman Pharmaceuticals, Nabi Qasim Industries, Aman Foundation etc.

Islamabad Session

Participants at the Faisalabad session were CIOs/IT Heads from organizations including FESCO, Crescent Bahuman, Bismillah Fabrics, Ahsan Ikram Textile and Rafhan Products.

CIO Pakistan, signature brand of IDG Enterprise, is taking this cross-vertical program across the country with RapidCompute as the premier partner, for the general benefit of enterprise learning and executing technology roadmaps.

These focus groups are designed to gather senior IT executives or technology department show runners for knowledge sharing, with a focused dialogue on the industry dynamics.
