POCO’s Product Manager and Global Spokesperson, Angus Kai Ho Ng, officially teased the arrival of a new POCO phone today. The device was also recently listed on Geekbench, which suggests that it will most likely be a rebranded Redmi phone.

Angus Kai Ho Ng took to Twitter to post a teaser image of the upcoming smartphone claiming that the handset will be ‘More than you expect.’ Even though the name of the smartphone was hidden, experts believe that it will be the POCO M3 that will mark the debut of the “M” series globally.

The listing reveals that the smartphone will probably be launched as the rebranded Redmi Note 9 (4G) smartphone that Xiaomi is set to launch in China on 24th November. The smartphone recently appeared on Geekbench under the same model number as the Redmi Note 9 4G.

The listing reveals that the upcoming POCO phone will run Android 10 and will be powered by the Snapdragon 662 topped with 4GB RAM, 6.53-inch FHD+ display, 48MP rear and 8MP selfie shooter, 6,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging.

However, we are sure that the smartphone will be launched globally. Currently, POCO has a limited global portfolio with POCO F and X devices. The company’s Indian division has, however, been launching devices under the X, M, and C series.
