Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on Friday, extended the doping ban on opener Ahmed Shehzad.
He has been handed over an extended ban of six weeks for the contract breach which required him to stay away from cricket. After this new ban, Shehzad will be unavailable for selection until the end of the December.
Earlier last month, PCB sanctioned Shehzad from all form of cricket for four months after he failed a doping test that was conducted in April during a domestic game.

Since the report had come in July and the opener was immediately suspended from cricket until the confirmation from another laboratory, his ban was backdated and was going to end on November 10.
However, Shehzad played a couple of matches for his native club, Muslim Gymkhana, and was foolish enough to share pictures on his Twitter account, only to attract PCB wrath.
He was subsequently served a show cause notice on October 19.
In his response to the notice, Shehzad had maintained he was unaware of the certain laws and apologized for his unwilful breach of the contract.
His apology was not accepted by the board and the committee extended his ban by six more weeks. The new ban will commence from November 11, as per the official document.
