LG KP220 Available in Pakistan for Rs. 6,999

KP 220 is a new phone running on TV these days from LG; basically aiming at mid ranged users who can’t compromise with the music capabilities of devices they hold.

Look and Feel

Priced at Rs. 6,999, LG KP 220 comes with a plastic body, a metallic keypad and a shiny display. Phone looks stylish; however the keypad could be bettered, as the metallic plate used beneath keypad is too thin, which make the whole plate pushed down when any of the key is pressed, which are hard. Other than this, phone looks decent and simple with bright graphics.

Music Capabilities

LG says that KP 220 has an MP3 player with a dedicated shortcut key at the top of menu key, and can be controlled (play, pause, skip, stop etc) with a D-pad. However, you can fast forward or rewind songs, instead you have an option of skipping them if didn’t like the track.

KP 220’s sound quality is not up to the mark, but the headphone can do little wonders with your music experience. Also equipped is a FM radio, which allows you to preset upto 9 channels. You can also schedule recording for FM progrmme or real time recording with FM record option.

Memory

LG says that phone has built-in memory of 60 MB with an option to expand it with MicroSD card.

Camera

LG KP 220 offers image capturing and video recording with its 1.3 megapixel camera. Obviously the picture quality should not be expected high, even in day light. Handset comes with multi-shot option to capture simultaneous pictures. You may miss edit or personalize options for pictures with this LG Phone.

Connectivity

The phone is GPRS compatible, however surfing Internet could be not that easy due to the small screen. Alongwith USB connectivity to download/upload music comes the Blutetooth as well.

Battery

The phone has a great battery backup but it shuts down suddenly, once the first bar in the battery meter disappears. This happened to us after we played radio for nine straight hours and had talked for about two hours.
