Samsung is slowly dropping new successors for the Galaxy A series of affordable mid-rangers and one of the latest ones to arrive is the Galaxy A21s. We at ProPakistani received a review unit for the device and here are our first impressions.

Have a look.

Design and Display

The display is a 6.5-inch TFT panel with HD+ resolution and a cornered punch-hole front camera. The colors are crisp and video playback is of great quality.

The Galaxy A21s comes with a color-shifting glossy finish at the back, an L shaped quad-camera setup, and a fingerprint sensor on the rear. The rear panel is prone to fingerprints so a case is recommended.

The right side has a power button and a volume rocker, the bottom has a speaker grille, a USB C port, and a headphone jack. The top is empty while the left side holds a SIM slot.

Camera

The quad-camera setup at the back includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide unit, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The cameras at the back and front are able to deliver decent results and we recommend checking out the video for samples.

The camera app has all the standard features including photo, video, pro mode, and live focus (portrait mode). Tapping the “more” option in the corner pulls up panorama mode, macro photos, and food photography.

Hardware and Performance

The A21s is powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 850 SoC that comes with a 2.0GHz CPU and the Mali-G52. We loaded up PUBG Mobile to test the phone’s performance and it was able to deliver consistent FPS at HD settings and there was no overheating either.

This is all we’ll say about the Samsung Galaxy A21s for now, but stay tuned since we also have a detailed review and a few tests coming up soon. Make sure to like and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content.
