Here’s How Bollywood and Indian Sports Stars Praised a Surgical Attack That Never Happened
Posted by SYED ZARAR
As things became clear yesterday, the Indian claim about surgical strikes was all but rubbished after news broke that no such thing occurred. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement confirmed this.
What the Indians were calling a ‘surgical strike’ was in fact LoC violations. Local news reported that one Indian soldier was also in custody with the Pakistani authorities. So much for the ‘surgical strike’ claim.
Looking at the bigger picture, these attacks have been conducted to deflect the unfair hold of India in Kashmir.
But the Indian public and their stars, were fed a lie by their own government about the so-called surgical strikes. In fact, many Indian artists and sportspeople came out in support of their government on Twitter, spreading the lie that they didn’t bother to question at all.
Here is how the Bollywood stars turned in support for their government and their mindless agenda.

These are just some of the reactions from well-known Indian faces. In war, it is often said that truth is the first casualty. Let us hope that things cool down before they reach the point of no return.
And most importantly, in the age of social media, people really should think twice before they tweet.
