Airblue has introduced a new flight route between Peshawar and Sharjah. The inaugural flight PA-612, between the two cities, flew on Tuesday. The return flight PA-613 was also scheduled for today.

Director Sales Airblue, Faheem Hamid, was present at the Peshawar Airport to see off the passengers of the inaugural flight. They were attended by Sohail Sheikh on Sharjah airport.

The passengers of the first flight for this route were also presented with giveaways.

The flight PA-612 will fly every Tuesday and Friday at 10:30 am and will reach the destination at 1:30 pm. The return flights (PA-613) will operate the next day at 4:45 am and will arrive at 9 am at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan Airport.

The addition of a new route for Airblue means more competition for the national flag carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) that offers two flights a week for the same route.

PIA flies between the cities on Sunday and Thursday while Air Arabia’s low-cost flight flies daily on this route.
