Sling TV has launched what it’s calling Happy Hour Across America. This opens up Sling Blue to new Sling customers every night. Allowing you to watch dozens of live TV channels and thousands of on-demand titles, all for free, with no credit card required.

Sling TV Wants You to Stay in and Sling

People who have canceled their cable subscriptions now have a number of live streaming TV services to choose from. One of which is Sling TV. And with parts of the US in lockdown due to COVID-19, Sling TV has launched its Stay in and Sling initiative.

This provides free access to news and entertainment, with a 24/7 news channel providing updates, and a selection of movies and TV shows to keep families entertained. And now Sling TV has gone one step further with Happy Hour Across America.

How to Access Sling Blue for Free

Happy Hour Across America offers free access to Sling Blue every night from 5pm to Midnight ET. While you do have to register for an account, you don’t have to enter your credit card details. Which means not having to worry about cancelling at a later date.

Sling Blue, which normally costs $30/month, provides access to 32 live channels, including AMC, Discovery, and FX. You can also access thousands on on-demand titles, and use Sling’s free cloud DVR to record shows to watch in your own time.

This offer is only available in the US, and only to new Sling customers. And while Sling’s Happy Hour Across America is clearly going to be available for a limited time only, the company hasn’t yet said when it’s going to end. So make the most of it while you can.

To access Sling Blue for free, just follow the instructions on the Happy Hour website.

Other Live Streaming TV Services Are Available

This is a generous offer from Sling TV, especially as it has resisted the urge to ask everyone for their credit card details. Sure, Sling TV hopes that you’ll enjoy Sling Blue enough that you’ll sign up once this is all over, but there’s no obligation to do so.

And remember, Sling TV is just one of the best live TV streaming services for cord-cutters. So if you like the idea of cutting the cord in favor of streaming but don’t like the user interface or selection of channels, there are other options available.
