Fawad Khan to share screen with Ashwariya Rai Bachan

After getting news of Kareena Kapoor rejecting to share the big screen with our rockstar Fawad Khan, Ashwairiya Rai Bachan who has been out of sight post her daughters arrival from the silver screen is all set to make her come back next to the latest Pakistani Nawab sensation that took over Bollywood, Fawad Afzal Khan.

Since the night of the Film Fare awards where Fawad Khan made his mark and received the golden lady as the Best Debute of the Year award for his first Bollywood venture “Khoobsurat”, the actor is rumored to now star with the Bollywood Bahu, Ashwairiya Rai Bachan in a Karan Johar upcoming project called Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, as reported by the India Times.

The movie is also rumored to have Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor as cast. Post the release of Khoobsurat, Karan Johar has been rumored to be so impressed with Fawad Khan’s work that he was approached for the role.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, is an unusual love story and unlike any other produced and directed by Karan Johar who told the media, “It’s a film that dwells deeply on relationships, heartbreaks and how love completes you, defines you and yet leaves you wanting for more. I have never had, in my entire career, a film that has come to me so fast, so organically and so from within.”

Previously Fawad Khan was also rumored to be considered against Kareena Kapoor Khan in the movie Udta Punjab, and has also been reported to star opposite Priyanka Chopra in a Madhur Bhandarkar project called “Madamji”, whose story unfolds to show the struggles of the life of an item girl who sets her foot out to become a politician.

It is amazing how much our very own EP rockstar and heart-rob of millions has conquered the Silver Screen in such little time. We wish Fawad Khan all the best and hope he continues to grow leaps and bounds!
