Who Says Vehicles Are For Boys Only? These Girls From Nust Go Global With Their Formula Race Car

National Institute of Science and Technology has produced this brilliant team of young girls named ‘Team Auj’ who have built a formula car from square one. Knowing how women are usually treated in this country, I would call this a huge victory. Especially since this is the first time something like this is happening.

The team was formed by taking participants from different departments of engineering like mechanical and electrical and was built without any help from professionals.

They will be traveling to Silverstone in England next week to take part in the International Formula Student Competition. The competition is a platform for engineering students all around the world to showcase their talent and compete on an international level. Hats off to these girls for going global with their hard work and representing Pakistan and its young girls in a positive light.
