When buying a phone, we usually check its capabilities and specifications and compare it with other mobiles. Where one phone is better at some points, the other is better in its own specs.

iPhone X and Google Pixel 2 are two of the revolutionary mobile phones released by the mobile companies in a race to win the market. In September, Apple released its futuristic-looking iPhone X on its 10th Anniversary. The cool design and hi-tech features supported by iOS 11 gripped the customers. Later on, in October, google debuted it’s Google Pixel 2, the flagship of Android 8.0 (OREO). Both these phones have some features which the other lacks. The iPhone X is hexa-core operating at 2.53, 1.42 GHz whereas the operating system of Google Pixel 2 is supported by an octa-core chip at 2.45, 1.93 GHz. The Google Pixel 2 also provides slightly better cameras with 12.2 MP back camera and 8 MP front camera. whereas iPhone X has a 12 MP back camera and 7 MP front camera. The iPhone X does not possess a light sensor or even the most convenient and safe fingerprint sensor. These features, however, are present and upgraded in the new Google Pixel 2. The Google Pixel 2 is also lighter, weighing just 140 grams compared to iPhone X’s 180 grams. The Google Pixel 2 also has better screen protection with the Corning Gorilla Glass v5. The front and back cameras of the Google Pixel 2 have an aperture of F2.4 and provide a wider coverage than iPhone X’s F2.2 cameras.

The customers have also reported their Google Pixel 2 running smoothly and warm and almost none overheating as the aluminum back-cover radiates the excess heat quite rapidly while the iPhone X has had a lot of performance issues, overheating and quick battery draining due to excessively strong CPU and the glass case which provide insulation from heat transfer, heating up the phone.

The Google Pixel 2 has superiority over the iPhone X in a modest price of Rs 90,000 while the iPhone X is at the backhand even at a ludicrously high price of Rs 130,000.
