The release of the new Samsung Galaxy S10 has not been without it’s share of problems such as the leaked press release which gave away vital information regarding Samsung’s collaboration with Cosmocoin as their first DApp partner.

Information that was leaked also alleged that Cosmocoin users would be able to store and transfer COSM tokens immediately within the Galaxy S10’s wallet.

However, even amidst all the rumours and unpleasantness, the new model stole the entire show as it was revealed for the first time yesterday at the Galaxy UNPACKED event in San Francisco.

But it isn’t just the next generation camera, the improved intelligent performance or even the new dynamic AMOLED display that has people excited. It is in fact the information that sparked all those rumours and has now been confirmed!

Samsung’s new and much awaited S10 will be the first to include a crypto wallet feature that actually allows users to receive and send crytocurrencies with the mere push of a button. Now, users will be able to send payments and make transaction by using Bitcoin or Ethereum with ease.

According to DJ Koh who is the President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics the company ensures that with each new update the company and it’s products show growth, “Since its launch ten years ago, the Galaxy S series has stood for premium innovation – offering consumers an incredible experience, and the ability to find the device that’s right for them…”

The arrival of the Galaxy S9 was ripe with speculation but Samsung finally affirmed the rumours when it made this statement, “Galaxy S10 is built with defense-grade Samsung Knox, as well as a secure storage backed by hardware, which houses your private keys for blockchain-enabled mobile services.”

In a further press release Samsung said, “With the introduction of the Galaxy S10 line, Samsung Electronics has once again demonstrated how it is steering the future of the smartphone screen. The company’s newest flagships take its display technology to the next level, offering users a more brilliant and realistic picture, along with an in-display camera design that maximizes screen real estate, and a first-of-its-kind Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner.”

In terms of security, the Galaxy S10 has the original Samsung Knox system but also has an added level of security with the introduction of secure storage that contains user’s private keys that allow you to use the blockchain services.
