On Friday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that his government inherited massive arrears of existing and financial account and was endeavoring to defeat the financial crisis. While talking to a delegation of columnists in Islamabad, he said that the government decided to move towards the friendly countries to covenant with the situation and by the grace of Almighty Allah, it overcame the financial crunch and balance of payments issue.

PM Imran alleged that the government would present an inclusive programe to the nation showing its performance and direction in education, health, poverty improvement and other essential sectors during the first 100 days.

He said the first 100 days report supposed a major importance in any government as it educated the people about government’s direction and future course of action.

Earlier in a statement today, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry informed that the premier would present the 100-day progress report of his government before the nation on November 29.

The minister said, according to details, Imran will tell Pakistanis on the performance of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) during its first 100 days in the government by the end of this month.

“No other government has even gotten close to what we [PTI government] achieved in our first 100 days,” Chaudhry remarked boastfully at a press conference after a session of the federal cabinet.

In its first 100 days of governance, PTI government has taken a number of steps, where few notable measures include severity drive, 5-year plan for polio eradication, plantation and cleanliness campaigns, clean and green Pakistan and ‘Naya Pakistan Housing Programe’.
