Aside from all the racism that affects the Muslim community in western countries and white supremacists enjoying support in American society under Donald Trump’s presidency, our Muslim sisters are rising and achieving high standards.

After the recent mid-terms election in America on Tuesday, 6th November 2018 two Muslim women were elected for ranks in congress for the first time in history. Belonging to Indiana, Keith Ellison and Andre Carson were the first ever Muslim men elected to congress. These women are third and fourth Muslims to be elected for US house of representatives.
