Karachi’s Killer Heatwave Is Taking Lives Everyday!

Year after year tremendous changes seem to be happening around us. The climatic disorder that is drastically affecting our environment has now become a threat to our livelihood. The major causes of these devastation is obvious, that we have been analyzing that is pollution, environmental degradation, over population and climatic disruption. The extreme change in climate has now begun to imply its impact towards us.

Currently, the increasing temperature of Karachi is one of such issues, this is affecting people living in Karachi with massive extent. The rising issue of heat wave that strikes the shore of Karachi city during summer seasons is now increasing to its worst extent. This constant dilution of massive disruption has now became life risking. Many people have lost their lives, due to this drastic increase in temperature of the city.

However, multiple safety precautions have been ensured all over the city. Safety campaigns are being made across the city, water booths are set on pavements providing free drinking water to the passengers, and people are restricted not to travel during high times.

Nevertheless, this year of religious practice of Fasting during the month of Ramadan has become a little harder for the Muslims of Karachi due to increasing temperature and heat wave. Moreover, lack of Plantation in the city has made the environment even worse owing to pollution. The land of the city is drying up day by day, and there is a dire need to propose counter measures against this rising issue.
