Blockchain: Technology That Is Changing Sociological Truths

Human civilization has struggled a lot. But, let alone doing, who is talking about it?

Pop culture, media and education hand in hand weave out the outlook of every society. This helps in shaping the citizen perception and the individual goals of each participant, the whole society and the world view (also known as the ‘reality.’) This reality is often blurred by the more privileged to soothe out or to cut out or out of unawareness of the weaker ones.

The ratio of the number of movies we see about poverty is as low as the number of people trying to bring out change in the society. When was the last time a newspaper showed you an advertisement of a business that exists solely on prosperity of the indigenous groups, or oppressed factions of the society, not non-profits (so-called). Or when was the last time you heard a song about the world’s food wastage or clothing wasteland problem? There is inequality, yes we know it. But, who is doing something about it?

Are people dumb?

No our structures are. The liberation we see is not liberation. The problems of racial intolerance, gender and sexual discrimination, sexual crimes, hate crimes and class competence grew out to be so big out of malice and greed. These concepts have been nothing but a social project to spread violence and terror among others, so that the oppressed segments could be squeezed for more power. The power made the powerful even more powerful. It made the oppressed even more distressed and mandated the differences in life chances, safety and prosperity of one group from another.

Our view on the ideas of what can be done and what can be thought of have been affected and left bruised. These bruises are like cutting off a limb of our brains that is responsible for making breakthroughs and genuinely killing oppression.

There would have been solutions only the bridges that help us think in terms of them and how to get there are super broken and dead.

Given any technology that creates any form of relief in the society, can only do so much. It is the minds of the thinkers, influencers and the ones in power whom the possibilities really depend on. And if they have poor imaginations, then there is no way out of the junkyard of over repetitive and useless ideas.

But, the elephant in the room is that we have got the vehicle of change at our disposals. The means to a fair society exist, the rationale does not. The route is clear, the thinkers and drivers are not. Would you forward the banner or let the banter die? Would you be a part of the big amazing and beautiful or would you rather let things wilt and fade away?
